Old School Samba brought the house down at Carnakent last weekend in Greenhithe Kent, with their energetic performance of traditional Brazilian samba music. The band, led by Mestre Dylan, has been playing together for over 9 years and is well-known for their infectious energy and passion for the music.
The band's performance at Carnakent was part of a celebration of Brazilian culture, which also included a performance by Quintal do Samba and some traditional Brazilian cuisine. The event was a huge success, with people from all over Kent coming to enjoy the music, dance, and food.
Old School Samba's performance was one of the highlights of the event, playing a variety of classic samba grooves, as well as some more modern interpretations of the genre. The crowd was dancing and cheering along with one lady even in tears as it bought back such happy emotions from her time in Brazil.
Our performance at Carnakent was a great way to celebrate Brazilian culture and enjoy some great music. If you're looking for a fun and energetic night out, be sure to check out Old School Samba the next time we're playing in your area. And we'll definitely be back at CarnaKent in future.
Here are some quotes from people who attended the event:
"Old School Samba were amazing!"
"They we're incredible"
"You guys should be very proud, it was THE SHOW!!! As a former samba queen I know what I am talking about."
"I've seen many samba bands in Brazil and you were up there with them"
